Loratadine being an effective drug is used in the treatment of
allergies. To treat the allergies Loratadine is one of the largest
selling drugs in the world with a rank of 5th position. A series of
sensitive reactions are required to be conducted in controlled

Laboratories Limited is the company producing this drug. It has the
second largest producing of Doratadine.The lab technology for
producing this drug was acquired by MLL in June 1993.Later by
September 1995 it had fully commercialize the manufacturing of the
drug. With the expiring of US patent in 2002 and that of Canada and
Europe in 2001, Morepen is the only manufacturer of this drug which
is exporting Loratadine to about 20-22 countries in the world.
Loratadine is easily available in the tablets form. Claritin
Reditabs are also available in rapidly disintegrating tablets.
Before the manufacturing of this drug they were undergone through
some clinical trails that assured that the drug does not result in
irritation of mouth or the tongue. Thus the disintegrating tablets
are also safe. Claritin also avails in syrup form.
